AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill

AlterG

Anti-Gravity Treadmill

Anti-Gravity treadmill, also known as AlterG, has the same platform as a treadmill but is unlike any other running equipment! The celiathlete, writer of The Machine that Just Changed My Life: The AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill states, “The AlterG’s technology was originally conceived as part of an effort to help NASA’s astronauts maintain fitness during prolonged space flight. The machine uses an advanced pressure regulation system with a treadmill to provide the most effective and comfortable body weight support system.” This machine was originally made to help astronauts run in a more natural way while being in an environment without gravity.

In the AlterG system, users gently “unweight” themselves with positive air pressure to reduce gravitational forces on the body. They can move to regain, maintain, and improve mobility, wellness, and performance. This technology supports walking and running biomechanics, helping you to achieve your goals and improve your daily functions. Athletes who have sustained an injury and have been unable to exercise are now able to run in a gravity-reduced environment. Patients can now rehab better, train smarter and exercise safer with AlterG.

Below are some of the many benefits of using AlterG:
