How Post Operative Rehab Can Help You

Post Operative Rehab is a type of physical therapy which helps support recovery after surgery. It is important to take the time after surgery to work with therapists to rebuild strength and range of motion.

At Reddy Care Physical, Occupational and Aquatic Therapy, a physical therapist will evaluate you and provide you with a unique treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Your Physical therapist's goal is to help improve range of motion and flexibility, strengthen your muscles, and reduce joint pain. Your physical therapy treatment plan may include exercises, manual therapy, massage therapy, or electrical stimulation.

A Reddy Care occupational therapist can evaluate you in your home to assess your safety. Occupational therapy helps regain skills you need to complete your everyday activities. Your occupational therapist can re-teach you basic self-care such as how to cook, shower, get dressed and go to the bathroom safely. They may also recommend adaptive equipment such as shower equipment, grab bar placement, or even a dressing stick.

You may be a candidate for post operative rehab if you had or are having the following procedures:
