Parkinson's disease is a progressive, age-related degenerative brain disorder that primarily affects movement. It is characterized by symptoms such as slowed movements, tremors, and balance issues. Causes of Parkinson's Disease

The most prominent symptoms of Parkinson's disease arise when nerve cells in the basal ganglia—a part of the brain responsible for controlling movement—become impaired or die. These nerve cells, or neurons, typically produce dopamine, a critical chemical that helps regulate movement. When these neurons die or are damaged, dopamine levels decrease, leading to the movement difficulties associated with Parkinson's disease.
